![]() This watercolor seascape was inspired by the many large sand dunes that could be found along my favorite seashore spots in South Jersey. Places like, Sea Isle, Stone Harbor and even the Long Beach Island beaches, are all places that I loved to visit, prior to hurricane Sandy. In these months following the storm I thought about how I loved walking over the dunes and catching that first glimpse of the ocean. The title comes from the first line of a poem by: Lillian B. Rose, which is how I feel when at the beach, like it is calling out to me. I hope that when the storm damage is repaired the dunes will return.
